Mad. Montessu having, on Monday last, been honoured with the most enthusiastic applause, will make her second and last appearance on the English stage to-morrow evening. To-morrow, (Thursday) February 21, 1833, will be performed the play of The iron chest ... with a favourite divertissement, by all the principal dancers. After which, the grand ballet of Masaniello (from the King's Theatre) with all its original splendour of scenery, dresses & decorations, in which Madame Montessu ... will make her second and last appearance on the English stage. The ballet composed by Mons. Deshayes. The music by Auber. ... The public is respectfully informed that the sacred performances during Lent will commence at this Theatre on Friday next, Feb. 22, 1833, when will be represented (for the first time in this country) an oratorio consisting of sacred music, scenery, & personation, entitled The Israelites in Egypt, or, The passage of the Red Sea.
