Description

Set mainly in New York, this book is more a description of the attitude of other Americans to Chinese Americans than a romance. It describes the progress of the young central figure, Sam Lee, from his college days through to his acceptance in marriage. It was made into a <a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Son_of_the_Gods>film</a> in 1930.
