In order to satisfy the desire of as many as possible of the thousands of persons who have expressed a wish to witness the opening performance of the great Chinese spectacle, by Pierre Loti and Judith Gautier "The Daughter of Heaven," and believing that more time should be allowed the reviewers than ordinarily is possible between the fall of the curtain and the hour the newspapers go to press, The Liebler Co. has decided to begin the season of the play with two performances, Saturday, October 12th, the first performance at 2 in the afternoon, and the second at 8 in the evening.
