9 1/2" x 7 1/2" booklet has frontispiece with "a view of the Future Capitol Plaza, as seen from Union Station. Each page has a pencil drawing of DC public buildings projects that were in the works as of 1930...Many were depictions that were never realized, or were amended before finally built. From page one, the pages depict: The White House; Pennsylvania Avenue of the Future; the Municipal Group; Municipal Administration Building; The Botanic Gardens Building; The New Supreme Court; The House Office Building; The United States Capitol; Agriculural Administration Building; The Future Mall Vista; The Arlington Memorial Bridge; The Great Falls Bridge; The Woodward and Lothrop Store.

The booklet was produced in conjunction with: The National Capital Park and Planning Commission, The Commision of Fine Arts, The Officeof the Supervising Office of the Treasury, The board of Architecutural Consultants, The Architect of the Capitol, The office of the Municpal Architect and Mr. William Partridge, Consulting Architect
