The data consist of 4 separate national cross-section samples of the German electorate interviewed between May and July 1964. The questionnaires inquired about attitudes towards the federal government, a variety of foreign and domestic issues, attitudes towards the parties (satisfaction, characteristics, and differences) knowledge of and evaluations of politicians, along with various measures of political interest, information, and involvement.
