Domestic violence teaching package, 1955-1964

Description

The study contains a subset of the World Handbook of Political and Social Indicators II data, consisting of 57 variables on national attributes and domestic violence. The latter are aggregated to 5 year periods 1955-59 and 1960-64. The package is intended to provide data for examining current theories of domestic violence. A draft manual written for use with the University of Michigan computer is available: Gregory Markus, Workbook for the Analysis of Domestic Violence. The manual might well be adapted for use at other schools.
