Description

Information was sought on the gambling activities of the United States population 18 years of age and older, on the attitudes and opinions held by that population in reference to both legal and illegal gambling. Some of the main objectives of the study include determining the extent of gambling activities in the United States, examining the social consequences of changes in gambling laws, and estimating government revenues available from legal gambling. The study includes two surveys, one national and the other covering the state of Nevada.
