Description

The sample was taken from households in the AHS, 1977 SMSA files. The collection consists of 20 data files, one for each SMSA represented. There are 94,783 total records in the collection. The number of records ranges from 1,255 for Saginaw, Michigan to 13,340 for Los Angeles, California. Each file contains approximately 65 variables and has a logical record length of 372 characters.
