Survey of City Council members in large American cities, 1982

Description

These responses to a mail questionnaire sent to randomly selected city council members in large cities, explores their relationship between local political structure and the personal characteristics, representational styles, and policy perspectives. The survey asks why they ran for council, what are sources of conflict within the community and council, what is the political structure of the city. Demographic information on the council members is also included.
