Description

The data for this study were drawn from a nationwide probability sample of the population aged 15 and above. The interviews were conducted in two waves --pre- and post-election-- and focus on the following areas: voting behavior, political attitudes, political socialization, attitudes toward other nations, attitudes toward and participation in unconventional political behavior such as demonstrations, and attitudes toward social and cultural issues. The study also includes demographic variables such as sex, age, education, and occupation.
