Description

These data are a collection of demographic statistics for some 220 countries or areas throughout the world, prepared by the Statistical Office of the United Nations. The primary source of data is a set of questionnaires sent annually and monthly to some 220 statistical services and other appropriate government offices. This dataset includes total population by country or area for the years 1966-1974 for males and females divided into 18 age groups.
