German Reichstag election data, 1871-1912

Description

Dataset contains electoral returns at the Wahlkreis and Staat levels for the Reichstag elections for the following years: 1871, 1874, 1877, 1878, 1881, 1884, 1890, 1893, 1898, 1903, 1907, and 1912. The variables for each election include the vote cast, the number of eligible voters, valid and invalid votes cast, voter turnout, total population as of the preceding census, and the percentage of Catholics and Protestants.
