This study was conducted by Philip Meyer of the Washington Bureau of Knight Newspapers, Inc. Respondents filled out questionnaires as they left polling places. Questions deal with the respondents' vote in the primary, their rating of President Nixon, their opinion on several state and national issues, and demographic information such as age, sex, and education.
