In 2006 the 700th anniversary of the consecration of the choir of the gothic Church of Our Lady in Friedberg (Hesse) was commemorated. Two events were held to celebrate this anniversary: a series of lectures for the public at large and a scientific symposium. The present volume with its 15 essays documents these two events.--Cf.
