Washington Theatre. Manager: S.W. Glenn. Wednesday Ev'ng, September 7, '59. "Louise de Lingerolles" again to-night. Third night of Mrs. W. Gladstane, the accomplished actress. Third night of Mr. C Barton Hill, the talented comedian. In consequence of the inclemency of the weather on Monday evening last, and at the request of numerous citizens, the management announces for this night only, the great French drama of "Louise De Lingerolles or a Wife's Devotion" received on its first representation with marked approbation. First night of John Oxenford's new farce, entitled "Retained for the Defence." Wednesday Ev'ng, Sept. 7, '59 will be performed, for the last time in Washington, the great French drama, in five tableaux, entitled "Louise de Lignerolles, or, A Wife's Devotion" Produced with new costumes, original music, and with a cast of unqualified excellence ... Overture: selections from Opera, Orchestra. To conclude with John Oxenford's new farce, entitled "Retained for the Defence" ... Ice water in abundance ...
