Description

They were the Dream Seekers - the Silverthorns and the Bendelbinders - two Jewish families who arrived in America only to discover that the golden land of opportunity was not so golden during the years between the two world wars. Despite their solid beginnings, the struggle seemed never ending as the Great Depression took its toll, casting dark shadows at a time when the future of the Jews was once again threatened.
