This work looks at the views of marriage and the family held by the Nazi Party and the Socialist Unity Party of Germany. In spite of the different political beliefs of the two regimes, their ideas of sexual morality had much in common. Eight short biographies provide a glimpse into the private lives of some of the major players in each regime.
