Description

Jazz musician Ray Sherwood, playing at the 1940 Golden Gate International Exposition on the newly created Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay, simultaneously becomes involved with a beautiful and talented Berkeley student who seeks his help in orchestrating her highly original composition, and in the investigation into a mysterious Frenchwoman who plunges to her death from the island's emblematic Tower of the Sun.
