Syllabus of a course of lectures on the history and criticism of Spanish literature

Description

The pages of the printed syllabus by Ticknor, published in 1823 by Hilliard and Metcalf, are interbound with pages of manuscript notes by McKean dating from 1831. A photograph of McKean, copied from a daguerrotype and dating c. 1841-1845, was pasted into the front of the volume. Biographical notes on McKean are also written into the front of the volume.
