Consists of three letters authored by H.J. Jewett, president, Robert Harris, general manager, and G.R. Blanchard, assistant to the president, dated Jan. 17 and 22, 1879. New York west-bound traffic was divided between the New York, Lake Erie & Western R.R. Co., the Pennsylvania Railroad, the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company and the New York Central Railroad Company.
