Description

In 1995, a U.S. Senator attempting to disarm the CIA asks the former head of the Agency's covert operations, Blackford Oakes, for an account of his covert activities. One activity involved a 1985 plot by a group of young Soviet soldiers to assassinate Mikhail Gorbachev.
