On title page: owners' signature, i.a. “Th[oma]s Kirks 1730,” some crossed; institutional stamp, partly illegible, of a public library. Pencil marginalia. A Latin paraphrase, by William Hog, of "Paradise lost," "Paradise regain'd," and "Samson Agonistes." William Lauder’s principal source for the forgeries inserted in what he claimed to be John Milton’s own sources. See also D.
