The Home Intelligence unit of the Ministry compiled daily reports between May-Sept. 1940 and weekly reports from Oct., 1940-1944. The aim of the reports was to enable the government to keep in touch with the British public. Compiled from independent sources and 13 regional Ministry headquarters.
