Reader's Block (American Literature (Dalkey Archive))

Description

An experimental novel consisting of musings on literature. The narrator ponders on the role of a protagonist in novels, concludes Moby-Dick was insincere, decides Toynbee was an anti-Semite, and who needs a plot anyway?
