Seduction becomes her

Description

Daphne, devoted to caring for her siblings, is excited when her brother inherits a title and a Cornwall estate, and tells no one about its supernatural element: an ethereal nighttime visitor. Meanwhile, wealthy, dashing Charles Weston from Scandal Becomes Her (2007) is searching for clues about his supposedly dead step-brother Raoul. Either he is alive or someone else is killing and mutilating young women. While exploring, Daphne becomes trapped in a cave and Charles comes to her rescue, leading the two strangers straight into marriage to avoid scandal. Charles hopes that someday Daphne will protect him as she does her siblings. Busbee's entertaining mix of gothic romance and suspense is a pleasure to read. Engelmann, Patty.
